Company BRILUX started its existance in 1995. Since june 2001 it is a public company. Presently BRILUX S.A. is the leading company of the Brilux Group, which consists of 6 Polish and 10 foreign companies from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Great Britain and China.

Wide ranging offer of lighting equipment
The main activity of BRILUX S.A. is production and supply of wide ranging lighting products. An extraordinary wide offer has probably the best price-quality ratio in the whole Polish market. The offer of professional lighting equipment includes a wide range of road and park lighting, lighting for architectural purposes, fittings for public objects, offices, hotels, production halls as. A range includes also a lot of different domestic, garden lighting, special implementations, light sources and accessories, spare parts and components for production. The goods are offered in ELGO, BRILUM and BRILUX brands.

Production
The main production center of Brilux Group is a factory of lighting equipment ELGO Lighting Industries S.A. based in Gostynin. This company became a member of Brilux Group in April 2006, when the transaction of buying the factory was finished. ELGO means almost 50 years of tradition, high quality and strong position in the market and is well known for Polish as well as for customers from all around the world. Modern equipment, systematical investments in technical solutions and fast development of production possibilities means that the company is able to meet the needs of lighting fittings market. In some areas, especially in domestic and architectural lighting, the offer is supported by other reliable suppliers, who are cooperating with the Group for a long time.

Infrastructure of offices and warehouses
The office buildings and warehouses of BRILUX are situated Stara Iwiczna, in suburban areas of Warsaw. The Brilux Logistical Centre has a modern office building and high altitude warehouses. The company’s management is supported by one of the most modern integrated computer systems, based on mySAP.com. This system improves data processing, management reporting, creating offers. The company has its own bonded warehouse.

Quality system
In july 2004 Brilux S.A. was rewarded with the certificate of quality system based on PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 The audit was held by TÜV NORD, a noted, independent certifying unit.

Membership in business organisations
BRILUX S.A. is the member of Polish Association of Producers and Employers in the Lighting Sector. The compamy is also one of the founders of AURAEKO S.A. Organisation of Recycling of Electrical and Electronical Equipments.

Awards and prizes

Brilux S.A. has been many times awarded in various contests. Below there are the most important prizes:

* three times - award "Gazela Biznesu" ("Business Gazelle"),
* three times in consecutive years at Warsaw SWIATLO Fairs - The Economic Ministry Award in the "Ministry Contest for best developing company in Electrotechnic and Lighting Industry". Also Brilux was awarded for the best designed stand and the best webpage,
* 2nd position in contest for the "Best company in Mazovia 2004" in category "Trade and Distribution",
* Award in contest "Polish Success 2005" promoting Polish companies with significant achievements,
* "Consument's Award 2006" - 3rd place in category "Light bulbs".
